Abstract

In conformity with standards of the third generation the graduate of high school should possess a wide range common cultural and professional competences which is registered in the state educational standard for any directions of preparation. The important feature of educational process is that it is directed not only on transfer of ready knowledge, but also on learning the student to methods and receptions of reception of the information and capacities them to apply. For maintenance of productive activity of the student besides the account of its specific features, it is necessary to use and such forms of work which develop cognitive activity of the student during all process of training. To such forms carry independent work. According to curricula of various directions of preparation to it it is allocated from 50 % up to 60 % of labour input of a subject matter of "Physics". Depending on what to understand as independent work, its structure is built. For example P.I.Pidkasistyj considers, that in a basis of independent activity the individual knowledge which « is based on three activities of a disciple lays: 1) activity on mastering concepts, theories, laws or application of the ready information in familiar situations of training (at the decision of typical cognitive problems); 2) activity which objective is definition of possible modifications of actions of use of the acquired laws in the changed conditions of training; 3) the activity which has been directed on independent opening of law (the decision of creative problems)» [6]. In the article types of independent work, different leveled home works are considered, the example of such task on subject matter « the Interference and diffraction of light » which can be applied to formation of skills of independent work and formation competences during training to the physicist is resulted. The given subjects are considered in works of many authors (Klimchenko I.V. [2], Ostatina S.A. [1], Bublikov S.V. [3], Evdokimov M.A. [4], Ksenofontova A.N. [5]).
