Objectives of teaching mathematics in a secondary school is determined by its role in development of society in general and the formation of the personality of each individual. The main type of educational activity at the lessons of mathematics is problem solving. They are both an objective and a means of learning mathematical development of students. Pursuant to the objectives of teaching mathematics acquired knowledge should find application in practical activities, i.e. tasks with practical activities should be a major element in the general system of training tasks. But not every task can cause cognitive interest of pupils. Cognitive interest is selective. Great interest can be aroused to that there is a need that is vital. Monotonous and boring material, itself devoid of emotional elements, you can negate the effect and even otherwise good teaching techniques used by the teacher. Training you need to build, connecting with the life that the students got up meaningful tasks in which he would actively. Such tasks are tasks with historical, folklore and local jobs. The use of historical, folklore and local history material in the process of teaching mathematics not only promotes activization of informative activity of students, but also introduces students to creativity, promotes the development of love to the native land and its history [1].
