CONCEPTIONAL PECULARITIES OF HIGH SCHOOL EDUCATORS’ TRAINING FOR CROSS-CULTURAL COMMUNICATION

Gudkova S.A., Yakusheva T.S.

Abstract

Economic globalization has led to further communication between individuals from different cultures, which resulted in the necessity to search for ways to settle probable disagreements and conflicts born out of evident cognitive dissonance. The lack of knowledge through insufficiently shared conscience and existing stereotypes and warped ideas of activities of an individual from a different culture can explain this fact.

The growing tendency for intercultural relationships in and outside the country and the Policy which the Government has been pursuing in line with that, whose focus is to intellectualize knowledge and to develop cross-cultural ties, demonstrate that one of the essential functions of education systems is to ease barriers to cross-cultural communication. Therefore, a tertiary educators' task is to shape a creative personality ready to effectively communicate intercultural on different levels: verbal, non-verbal, perceptive. However, the main issue today is teachers who are not linguists are not prepared for the type of communication requiring a shared conscience with an individual from a different culture and a different language background. This is specifically evident through contradictions within society. For example, non language students require teaching their professional course in a foreign language, while the non language educator cannot teach the course through having no skills to fluently deliver information related to the professional field. Therefore, the ease of barriers to cross-cultural communication takes developing tools which can adapt non language tertiary educators to a dialogue and polylogue in a foreign language.

The article deals with pressing issues of building an infrastructure and high-technology environment which help to teach tertiary educators to effectively interact with individuals from a different culture on an everyday, professional and scientific levels. It suggests a multi-level model, whose core is English language constructions, for teaching educators. The choice of the language is based on its being a common international tool of cross-cultural communication.

The family is the most complex subsystem of society, performing a variety of functions, chief of which is the reproduction of mankind in all senses. The family is considered in science as the cradle of civilization and a treasure trove of cultural and moral values. The family resembles the state in miniature, in which there are unwritten laws, public opinion, moral concepts, tastes and ideals. They most often correspond to the standard norms of society. In most families there is the spirit of democracy and harmony, healthy lifestyle, hard work and frugality, honesty and fairness. In such a "family-state" brought up all personal qualities: diligence, honesty, diligence, obedience, respect. Children in the Junior, teen, and high school students inherit many traits from their parents due to social continuity and influence of parents. Parents always need to remember that parenting is not only when you are lecturing, command, encourage, or punish, but constantly, all his behavior inside the house, talking about his work, the relation to its production, to neighbors, to the state. From the parents are passed as a positive quality and a negative their behavior: unscrupulous life, careless attitude to labour, greed, unreasonable Transylvania earned funds, waste or greed. All this becomes the property of the children and often replicated and copied - parents want it or not. Therefore, a healthy home environment is a clear example of child rearing.

Abstract

This article deals with some academic experience of resolving typical conflicts that arise in the educational process when university students study works of fine art. These conflicts are of different nature: some of them are inherent and others are generated by the very nature of educational process and its organization. University academics should continuously focus on the problem and analyze it, as it is closely related to the professional development of future art teachers. An educator at the university should closely monitor the level and nature of conflicts, constantly arising in the course of studying art history, for their timely resolution. The article gives examples related to the study of different periods in the history of Russian and foreign art. By resolving conflicts and gradually overcoming the rejection of unfamiliar art phenomena by the future teachers of art we help them to disclose their creativity, evoking their sense of belonging to the whole world of culture and art, regardless of its conventional boundaries. A future teacher of Fine Arts should not be lost in the space of art, should not perceive this space as something hostile, but as a space in which new aesthetic landmarks emerge.

STRUCTURE AND FUNCTIONS OF COMMUNICATIVE ACTIVITY IN INTEGRATED IDENTITY OF A PERSON

Vasyura S.A.

Abstract

The article analyses the approach to understanding of an activity of a person that exists in Perm psychological school and complies with the theory of V. S. Merlin’s integrated identity. Integrated identity is considered as a special form of life of a certain person in the society where he lives and works as an independent, and unique system that keeps the integrity and identity in the conditions of internal and external changes.

The author presents her frameworks of categories and concepts of communicative activity of a person: communicative activity, leading activity, controllable development of communicative activity, style of communicative activity, etc. The focal point of the article is the structure and functions of communicative activity of a person – that is system-forming, adaptive, harmonizing, meta-individual. Obviously, communicative activity represents complex psychological system which is realized through interrelations of properties at different hierarchical levels of person’s identity – neuro-dynamic, psychodynamic, personal, social and psychological levels. The author shows a good potential of controllable development of students’ communicative activity, who will be, in the future, engaged in the socio-nomics professions in higher education institutions.

THE IMPACT OF CADET EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS ON TEENAGERS PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT

Nezdaiminova E.A.

Abstract

The instability of the social, financial and ideological environment, discrediting of highly moral orienting points – these are the main reasons that cause global psychological stress, which influences badly on both spiritual and physical health of people, who are noticed to have deep changes in perception, consciousness, way of thinking, motivational and emotional spheres, life rhythms, feelings, ethic values of life.

Peculiarities and character of all these processes are brightly expressed at the adolescence, when mental abilities, social and psychological individualities are being formed and society standards are being mastered.

Apart from age-related psychological changes mass media and other forms of popular culture exert great influence on teenager individuality. They mainly affect lifestyle and value forming of adolescence. We may now observe sharp decrease of moral values meaning among youth. The number of incomplete or problem families has grown, and the parents in such families are hardly capable of bringing up their offspring. Children raised in such families are automatically categorised into the “group of risk”, this means that they need psychological and pedagogical assistance. Usually parents are looking for such type of assistance in different educational institutions.

The impact of the educational process on students’ personal development and mental peculiarities on different stages of tuition is traditionally relevant in psychological researches. Despite some outstanding researches of native scientists, which helped to understand psychological patterns of student’s personal development in the context of education as leading activity(L. Vygodskiy, D. Elkonin, L. Bozhovich and others), the modern childhood along with its deep changes have been actualized in researches of psycho-pedagogical problems of student’s personality formation by D. Feldstein.
