Abstract
One of the priorities of the higher education system is to prepare competitive specialist, professional with a high level of competence in the economic sphere, the ability to productively use information and communication technologies in professional activity. For the successful formation of the ICT competence of bachelors of Economics at University it is necessary to define the criteria for the development of ICT competence among which we found the following: the ability to effectively manage their own educational objectives with the use of information and communication technologies; the willingness of trainees to master new software in connection with a continuous process of modernization and renewal; the ability to use means of information and communication technologies in professional activity.
Indicators of ICT competence of students may be: the ability to find, share and produce educational information using ICT tools; the ability to use the advantages of ICT in the development of University disciplines; the activity level of use of information and communication educational environment; ability to establish and maintain a database of teaching materials; knowledge of different types of electronic educational resources intended for economists; the willingness and ability to develop certain types of ESM; the ability to learn new software, to adapt their functions to the solution of professional problems; the ability to evaluate the quality and representativeness of the software product.
