Abstract

The article discusses the issue of early foreign language teaching. Approaches to the formation of a derivative linguistic personality are examined. The question of selection of language, speech and linguistic material is analyzed. The selection is based on the level of the child’s speech development, his or her speech experience and sensitive period of development. Foreign language teaching in a the pre-school age has to be considered as a specific section of familiarization with the world, through children’s curiosity, introducing them to a new language world with the aim of better adapting them to multilingual and polycultural situation in the modern world.
