Abstract
The notion of fear has both physiological and the same socio- psychological roots. In the work of Tolstoy "Anna Karenina" image of fear and all related socio-psychological sense, is one of the main methods in the image of the main character and plot canvas works. Thus the expression appears in the novel, when the reader empathizes with his characters and worried about them.
