Abstract
The authors consider education to require a minimum of physical knowledge and skills, which would be sufficient to perform regular, technically correct, independent exercises, i.e. availability of general fitness. The article is devoted to psychological and pedagogical analysis of students’ general physical training at higher educational institutions.
