Abstract
Each cultural era builds the ethical ideal in compliance of a stage of development which becomes a basis of new pedagogical concepts, models and projects. The ideal defines the general orientation of culture, its spiritual uniqueness, ethnic originality. It "gets" into language, public moral, cultural norms, traditions, legends. The moral public ideal finds the expression in the personified images of history and culture. At the present stage for education the main problem – search of significant images for imitation (reviewers) capable to set a moral ideal to become a reference point in definition of meaning of life.
