Abstract

Contents monitoring is a new type of special activity in information space which promotes an optimum choice of information with the pursued purpose. System and content competence is responsible for formation of abilities, skills, knowledge of contents monitoring. The concept of system and content competence, its structure and value for improvement of education quality in higher education institution is considered in this article. We suggest to form system and content competence on the basis of activities for contents monitoring. And we defined the importance of system and content competence for social and professional adaptation of university graduates.
