Abstract
Prominent representative of the educational direction of Azerbaijan Soltan Majid Ganizade contributed greatly to the creation of the concept of education in Azerbaijan. His ideas of the Enlightenment reflect a lot of other ideas of the Enlightenment, in particular, G.Mahmudbekov. S.M.Ganizade, in addition to theoretical research and pedagogical work, also participated in the creation of schools, improving their work.
