FORMATION OF HEALTHY LIFESTYLE OF SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS ON THE BASIS OF MOTIVATION COMPLEX

Abstract

The paper considers the motivation of 8 – 11 grades students to healthy lifestyle and namely to physical culture. The author gives classification of the students’ motivation to physical training and defines factors reducing motivation. The paper presents the motivation complex consisting of the interaction of inner motivation, external positive motivation, external negative motivation and motivation concerned with prospects, and methods and techniques developed for each type of motivation: the expansion of program material, the lesson structure change, the introduction of theoretical lesson of physical culture, the use of measurements for minimization of factors reducing motivation, keeping of self-monitoring diary, the use of information and communication technologies (ICT). The author gives the results of the study of motivation complex efficiency while forming healthy lifestyle.
