Abstract

The paper presents the phenomenon of “bilingualism” and considers the basic forms of bilingual education. The author considers the psychological and pedagogical features of the phenomenon of bilingualism, which include the study of pedagogical and psychological mechanisms of speech functioning. The paper presents several suggestions concerning the application of various methods and approaches in teaching bilinguals to solve psychological and pedagogical problems arising while training students-bilinguals.
