Abstract

The paper presents the analysis of the content of the concept “professional competence of elementary school teachers”. The author reveals the concepts “competence” and “professional competence” as the personal qualities combining knowledge, abilities, skills, experience, and proficiency. Based on the analysis of research done by domestic and foreign scientists, the author defines the content of the concept “professional competence”.
