Abstract

The paper describes the concept of “strategic competence” as one of the most important structural elements of the foreign language communicative competence. The author considers the formation of strategic competence in students of nonlinguistic professions on the example of speaking aspect training. It is suggested to use active methods of training to form strategic competence in students of nonlinguistic specialties.
