Abstract
The article dwells upon some peculiarities of the organization of professional training of bachelors of Romance-Germanic Philology in the UK based on the example of their professional training at the University of Nottingham. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of the content of university education of bachelors majoring in "English Language and Literature" with specification of goals and objectives for each year of their studies. The qualitative results of professional training of bachelors of Romance-Germanic Philology and opportunities of their future professional career are described.
