Abstract

The article discusses selfeducation of elementary school teacher in Japan. In Japan, the problem of selfeducation, self draws attention at all levels of the educational process (schools, universities) for selfeducation throughout life. In Japan, on the development of selfeducation highlighted the following priorities: education throughout life; increased accessibility to lifelong learning by creating a network of distance education; continuous improvement of the quality of education through the training of modular programs and didactic material for education.
