Abstract

Article is devoted to an emerging in the last decade in the Russian non-formal education. Its development is activated primarily private initiatives. Subject areas related to the development of socially significant problems, one of which - the interruption of cultural continuity during the socio-historical transformations. Participation in such practices is seen as a method of forming general civil competencies, development of democratic values.
